Shawn the Chart Guy here…The number one movie over the weekend of 7/11-7/14/08 was Hellboy II: The Golden Army with $34,539,115.  I personally didn’t like it quite as much as the original 2004 flick, but it was okay.  In a summer where there is a superhero movie every other week, this ranks below Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, and even Hancock. The #1 movie over the weekend of 7/4-7/6 was Hancock with $62,603,879 (103,877,446 total since being released on Tuesday, 7/1.) Along with being The Chart Guy, I am also a movie critic, and I personally loved the movie. Other national critics hated it, but I compare it to Ivan Reitman’s My Super Ex-Girlfriend (in a favorable light.) Will Smith does it again!
