Bad Lyrics
Monday, July 21st, 2008I stumbled upon the “Bad Lyrics Blog” by our friends at Spinner/AOL Music. They have some hilarious entires, like this gem:
“After all, I’m not with you/And I know the trees go back below/High as we fly one more time/I’m not beneath the wind” –Albert Hammond Jr.’s ‘The Boss Americana,’ from 2008’s ‘¿Cómo Te Llama?’ Wait … what? Ten bucks says he wrote this using those poetry refrigerator magnets.
My favorite bad lyric has to be:
“And I’m gonna miss you/like a child misses their blanket /but I’ve got to get a move on/with my life” – Fergie’s ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry”
It got me thinking… what are the worst lyrics you’ve ever heard? Leave a comment below!
